DISEMBARKING THE STAIRLIFT IN
CASE OF EMERGENCY
IMPORTANT!
In the unlikely event that you need to disembark the
stairlift mid travel, always attempt to swivel the seat
towards the stairs.
Turn the seat, depressing an holding the seat
swivel lever at the side of the seat pad. (Powered
swivel units can be rotated manually without the

MAKE SURE THE SEAT IS LOCKED INTO POSITION BEFORE
ATTEMPTING TO DISEMBARK THE STAIRLIFT.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE SEAT BELT IS UNDONE ONLY WHEN
THE SEAT HAS BEEN FULLY SWIVELLED TO FACE THE
STAIRCASE AND LOCKED INTO POSITION.
