In Live Mode, each of the six footswitches directly engages or disengages its corresponding effect loop, providing immediate access. In Program Mode, the LS6 allows users to create, save, edit, and recall up to 36 custom loop configurations, organized into 6 banks. This enables the activation or deactivation of multiple effect loops with a single footswitch press, eliminating the need for "tap dancing" around a pedalboard. The unit also includes selectable front and rear buffers. The "Buffer Front" engages a buffer at the input, and "Buffer Rear" engages a buffer at the output, both designed to lower impedance and optimize the signal for longer cable runs. When buffers are disengaged, the LS6 operates in full true-bypass mode. A dedicated mute footswitch provides silent output, useful for tuning or switching instruments. For tuning, the LS6 offers a built-in tuner function accessible by pressing footswitches 5 and 6 simultaneously, which mutes the output and displays tuning information on the LED display. - To save the patch, press the Edit/Save footswitch again. The display will show "S" followed by the bank and patch numbers (e.g., S-1-1).
- While in save mode, users can navigate to a different bank and patch to save the program there. Press Edit/Save once more to confirm saving.
- To cancel save mode, press the Live/Prog button once to return to edit mode. To exit edit mode, press the Live/Prog button again.
