The Acoustic LS6 Loop Switch is a versatile and programmable true bypass or selectable buffered loop switcher designed to provide guitarists with comprehensive control over their pedalboard and effects routing, while maintaining uncompromised sonic quality.
Function Description:
The LS6 features 6 true bypass audio loops, allowing for the integration of individual effects or chains of effect units. It offers dual operation modes: "Live Mode" and "Program Mode." In Live Mode, each of the six footswitches directly engages or disengages its corresponding effect loop, providing immediate access. In Program Mode, the LS6 allows users to create, save, edit, and recall up to 36 custom loop configurations, organized into 6 banks. This enables the activation or deactivation of multiple effect loops with a single footswitch press, eliminating the need for "tap dancing" around a pedalboard. The unit also includes selectable front and rear buffers. The "Buffer Front" engages a buffer at the input, and "Buffer Rear" engages a buffer at the output, both designed to lower impedance and optimize the signal for longer cable runs. When buffers are disengaged, the LS6 operates in full true-bypass mode. A dedicated mute footswitch provides silent output, useful for tuning or switching instruments. For tuning, the LS6 offers a built-in tuner function accessible by pressing footswitches 5 and 6 simultaneously, which mutes the output and displays tuning information on the LED display. Additionally, a dedicated Tuner Out sends an unaffected signal to an external tuner pedal, keeping the tuner outside the main signal chain.

- Loops: 6 discrete, true-bypass loops.
- Presets: 36 programmable loops organized in 6 banks.
Usage Features:
- LED Display: A large, easy-to-read LED display provides clear visual feedback, showing the operating mode (Live or Program), current bank, and preset number. It also displays the on-board tuner function.
- LED Footswitch Rings: Each footswitch (1-6) has an LED ring indicator to show its on/off status, providing instant feedback on which loops are active.
- Silent Footswitches: The LS6 is equipped with 6 silent footswitches, ensuring quiet operation during performance.
- Dual Operation Modes:
- Program Mode (Default): Allows users to save and recall up to 36 loop configurations across 6 banks. The LED display shows "P" followed by bank and patch numbers (e.g., P-3-5).
- Live Mode: Provides immediate access to individual loops 1-6. Pressing a footswitch (e.g., #1) engages the corresponding loop (#1).
- Navigation in Program Mode:
- Bank Down: Simultaneously press footswitches 1 + 2.
- Bank Up: Simultaneously press footswitches 3 + 4.
- Patch Selection: Use individual footswitches 1-6 to select a patch within the current bank.
- Edit/Save Functionality:
- To enter edit mode for a patch, press the Edit/Save footswitch once. The LED display will show "E" followed by the bank and patch numbers (e.g., E-1-1).
- While in edit mode, use footswitches 1-6 to turn loops on or off for the selected patch.
- To save the patch, press the Edit/Save footswitch again. The display will show "S" followed by the bank and patch numbers (e.g., S-1-1).
- While in save mode, users can navigate to a different bank and patch to save the program there. Press Edit/Save once more to confirm saving.
- To cancel save mode, press the Live/Prog button once to return to edit mode. To exit edit mode, press the Live/Prog button again.
- Mute Function: A dedicated Mute footswitch completely silences the output, ideal for silent tuning or instrument changes.
- Internal Tuner: Activated by simultaneously pressing footswitches 5 + 6, which mutes the output and displays tuning information.
- External Tuner Out: Provides an unaffected signal to an external tuner, keeping it out of the main signal path.
- Buffer Control: "Buffer Rear" and "Buffer Front" buttons allow users to engage buffers at the input or output, respectively, to maintain signal integrity over long cable runs.
Maintenance Features:
- Factory Reset: A full factory reset can be performed by simultaneously pressing the Edit/Save footswitch and the Live/Prog button for 5 seconds. This will erase all user programs and restore the unit to its original default state. Users are cautioned that this action will permanently delete all custom-programmed patches.
- Rugged Enclosure: The LS6 is housed in a rugged, all-steel enclosure, ensuring durability and protection for live performance and touring environments.
