What to do if my ACP OMNISTIM 500 PRO patient feels surging sensation?
    • A
      Andrew KellyAug 7, 2025
If a patient using ACP Medical Equipment experiences a surging or spiking sensation, it could be due to several reasons. First, check the conductive medium interface; it might be absent, inadequate, or improperly applied, so replace it with the correct and adequate conductive medium. Another potential cause is a short or breakage in the lead wires; use a LEAD WIRE TESTER to check the wires and replace them if faulty. Also, the electrodes might be non-conductive or poorly conductive; remove the electrode(s) and replace if necessary.

What to do if my ACP Medical Equipment patient cannot detect output?
    • K
      Karen BrownAug 15, 2025
If a patient using ACP Medical Equipment cannot detect output, it might be due to a failure of the lead wire(s), electrode(s), or conductive medium interface. Use an Omnistim® Output Tester to determine if the unit has failed or is operating incorrectly. If the LED illuminates properly, test the lead wire(s). If the LED is not illuminated, this indicates a failure of the Omnistim® 500 Pro. If the Output Tester shows the unit to be functional, and the Lead Wire tester show the lead wires to be functional, examine the electrodes, or conductive medium interface for problems.
