8. YOUR BEACON DETAILS
In the event of a false activation please contact the nearest Coast Guard Centre or Rescue Coordina-
tion Centre to explain that the ResQLink AIS has been activated in error and there are no follow up
rescue actions required.
Information required is:
• the 15 digit HEX ID (UIN) shown above
• the date, time, duration and cause of activation
• the location at the time of de-activation
