With the user correctly positioned in the seat, the backrest is likely to be too low if
the shoulders are more than 2” above the top of the backrest.

Observe the user once they have positioned in the seat and ask if they are
comfortable. The seat acts to stabilise parts of the body, and support them, so the
user should be more able with the support than without it.
