    • O
      Omar TrujilloAug 11, 2025

How to fix no outdoor sensor reception on AcuRite Wireless weather station?
    • J
      Janice WashingtonAug 17, 2025
To fix the lack of outdoor sensor reception, try the following: * Relocate the display unit or the outdoor sensor, ensuring they are within 330 ft (100 m) of each other. * Position both units at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from electronics that could cause interference, such as TVs, microwaves, and computers. * Use standard alkaline batteries (or lithium batteries in the sensor when the temperature is below -4ºF/-20ºC). Avoid using heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries. Note that it can take up to 20 minutes for the display unit and sensor to synchronize after replacing the batteries.

What to do if outdoor temperature is flashing or showing dashes on my AcuRite 02074?
    • S
      sherrywiseAug 25, 2025
If the outdoor temperature is flashing or showing dashes, it may be due to wireless interference. Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors and remove at least one battery from each. Reinstall the battery in the outdoor sensor, then reinstall the battery in the display unit. Let the units sit within a couple of feet of each other for about 20 minutes to establish a strong connection.

    • T
      Trevor Perry PhDAug 30, 2025
To correct inaccurate temperature or humidity readings, ensure that both the display unit and sensor are placed out of direct sunlight and away from any heat sources or vents. Also, make sure both units are positioned away from moisture sources.

Why is my AcuRite 02074 forecast inaccurate?
    • J
      Jared JacksonSep 4, 2025
The weather forecast icon predicts conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours, not current conditions. Also, the Learning Mode icon must disappear from the display unit for accurate forecasting; allow the unit to run continuously for 33 days to complete Learning Mode. Removing batteries or resetting the display restarts Learning Mode. The forecast should be fairly accurate after 14 days, but Learning Mode calibrates for 33 days.
