Overview

This document serves as an instruction manual for the Adexa DWASH100M, DWASH100T, DWASH100MXL, and DWASH100TXL dishwashers, providing comprehensive details on their safe use, maintenance, and operation.

Function Description

The Adexa DWASH100 series dishwashers are designed for commercial use, offering full automatic washing cycles at 55°C and rinsing at 80-85°C. The machines are constructed with hygiene in mind, featuring a frame (inside/outside), chassis, panel, and boiler all manufactured from stainless steel. The legs are adjustable, and the washing tank is automatically filled with continuous level control. Washing and rinsing water temperatures are independently controlled by two thermostats. The program duration can be adjusted from 1 to 3 minutes for the DWASH100 model. The cover opens upward in a guillotine-like fashion, and opening it during operation will pause the program, which resumes upon closure. The pumps are resistant to detergent and hot water, and the motors are heat-resistant and protected by a cooling fan. Boiler insulation is provided by glass wool to minimize heat loss and energy waste. The system is fully secured with thermal and electrical protectors, and the electrical panel is easily accessible for maintenance and inspection. All electrical equipment and cables comply with European Standards and safety regulations.

  • Start-up Procedure:
    1. Ensure proper grounding and electrical connection to a K-automat fuses group (380-400 V).
    2. Verify water supply and drainage connections are made and valves are open.
    3. Clean solid wastes from items and pre-wash them before placing into baskets.
    4. Do not overload baskets beyond stated capacity.
    5. Use foam-controlled liquid detergent and polisher.
    6. Connect detergent and polisher dosing apparatus.
    7. Fix the overflow pipe.
    8. Close the device cover.
    9. Turn the switch from "0" to "1" to power on. The control lamp will light.
    10. The machine will fill and heat water. The "ready" lamp will light when water is at temperature.
    11. Programs start automatically when the cover is closed.
    12. Washing time can be adjusted (30, 60, or 90 seconds for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd programs respectively).
    13. The "it is washing" lamp indicates operation. It turns off 4 seconds after rinsing stops, signaling program completion.
    14. Opening the cover pauses the machine; closing it resumes the program from where it stopped.
    15. Manual washing can be initiated by setting the switch to "AW", and automatic washing to "AR".
    16. In case of thermal relay activation (due to forcing, voltage fluctuation, or failure), press the reset button on the control panel.
    17. Do not run the cover holder after opening the cover.

Maintenance Features

  • General Principles:
    • Users are responsible for adhering to the manual's safety rules and performing periodical maintenance.
    • Do not place living bodies or objects on or inside the machine.
    • Children or unauthorized persons should not operate the machine.
    • Always switch off electrical connections before cleaning.
    • Ensure proper grounding and installation of LEAK CURRENT RELAY and fuse groups.
    • Never open the cover during operation.
    • Use foam-free and foam-controlled liquid detergent and polisher.
    • Do not squeeze hands when closing covers.
    • Do not use machines or covers as steps or ladders.
    • Clean electrical devices by rubbing after switching off power; do not spray water.
    • Avoid using scratchy or stripper tools for cleaning.
    • Do not connect devices to waterlines with temperatures below -5°C or above 50°C.
    • Use rubber gloves during cleaning and maintenance.
    • Do not remove labels and panels.
    • For efficiency and energy saving, supply water at 50°C. Use soft water (15 °F) or a water softening device to prolong device life.
    • In case of failure, cut electrical and water connections and contact authorized services.
    • Do not wash oversized items like pots and pans that do not fit the machine.
    • Do not insert hands into the hot boiler water containing detergent; rinse hands with warm water if contact occurs.

  • Weekly Maintenance: (Same steps as "Cleaning the Device")
  • Intervention After Failure (Troubleshooting):
    • Device not working: Check electric supply, stand-by/start switches, level switch, and solenoid valve.
    • No filling: Check level switch, contaminants in the washing tank tube, adequate water level, and solenoid valve operation.
    • Slow filling: Check water tap, water pressure (use pressurizing pump if < 202 kPa), clean solenoid valve filter, ensure rinsing nozzles are not plugged, and overflow pipe is seated correctly.
    • No heating: Check overflow pipe connection, washing tank fill, thermostat settings (80°C for rinsing, 50°C for washing), and cable connections.
    • Not emptying: Inspect for solid wastes in the washing tank, and check the drainage hose from overflow pipe to siphon for cleanliness.
    • Inefficient working: Ensure pump suction filter and washing nozzles are clean, adequate detergent supply, and select a longer program if pots are very dirty.
    • No drying (models with drying system): Check polisher amount and rinsing water thermostat (80°C).
    • Condensation in glasses: Do not store glasses on a flat surface, check polisher amount.
    • Striped glasses: Use only foamless detergent.
    • Excess foam: Check water temperature (>50°C), detergent/polisher dosing apparatus (can be excessive), clean machine from foamed detergent, empty and refill tank until foam disappears.
    • Stain on glass: Decrease polisher amount (acceptable dosage 0.1 cc/liter water).
    • Washing arms not rotating: Remove and clean washing arm, ensure water pressure is > 202 kPa (mount pressurizing pump if lower).
