Why is my ADI PRO 0E-UNISTRIKE electric strike running hot?
    • J
      John ParksAug 12, 2025
An ADI PRO Locks electric strike might run hot if it's set to 12V but connected to a 24V power source. Adjust the power source to match the electric strike's voltage requirement. Another cause could be induced power along the cable run. Inspect and minimize any induced power along the cable run.

What to do if ADI PRO 0E-UNISTRIKE Locks electric strike only unlocks when the door is pulled then pushed?
    • J
      Jamie RoseAug 20, 2025
If your ADI PRO Locks electric strike only unlocks when the door is pulled and then pushed, it could be due to pre-load, where the door latch is pushing against the strike plate. Remove any pre-load pressure from the latch. Also, confirm you have enough play in the door leaf to allow the latch to move back and forth freely.

Why ADI PRO 0E-UNISTRIKE electric strike only unlocks when held upright?
    • S
      Sharon RoseAug 27, 2025
If your ADI PRO Locks electric strike only unlocks when held upright, ensure it's receiving the correct voltage. If the strike is set for 12V DC, make sure it's getting at least that much voltage. Similarly, if it's set for 24V DC, ensure it receives adequate voltage. Long cable runs can also lower the voltage, so measure the voltage at the electric strike to rule out voltage drop.

How to prevent ADI PRO 0E-UNISTRIKE Locks electric door strike from becoming loose?
    • J
      Julie JacksonSep 2, 2025
To prevent your ADI PRO Locks electric door strike from frequently loosening, ensure the door leaf contacts the cushioning on the door frame and not the electric strike itself.
