MX2820 23" FAN MODULE
COMPLIANCE
The MX2820 23" Fan Module is intended for use in restricted access areas only and is intended to be
installed in a type “B” or “E” enclosure. This product has been evaluated to UL 60950, NEBS Level 3,
and GR-1089-CORE compliance.
The MX2820 Fan Module Frame Ground terminal must be connected to an earth ground. Per GR-
1089-CORE October 2002, Section 9, the MX2820 Fan Module is designed and intended only for instal-
lation in a DC-C (common) bonding and grounding system. The chassis ground wire must be of equal
or greater ampacity than the wire connected to the –48 VDC or ±24 VDC return. The MX2820 23" Fan
Module is not intended or designed for installation in a DC-I (isolated) bonding and grounding
system.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by ADTRAN could void the user’s authority to
operate this equipment.
WARRANTY
ADTRAN will replace or repair this product within the warranty period for 5 years if it does not meet
its published specifications or fails while in service. Warranty information can be found at
