Entry level pedal installation
Pedals such as the T3PA from Thrustmaster or the G29 pedals from Logitech
cannot be installed from the top, fastened with t-nuts. You will need to use the
included corner gussets and position the gussets and 3” extrusions of the pedal
plate to line up with the bolt pattern. Here’s an example using a G29 pedal
mockup (yes, a very simple mockup). The gussets will need to have their locating
pins snapped off (see the Corner Gusset Tip page for details). M8 x 16 socket
screws and M8 t-nuts will secure the gusset to the extrusions and M6 screws
are the norm to fasten to those pedal sets. Also, the heel rest will need to be
removed (or you can place it further back, use it as a floor plate!).
