Vehicle EMERGENCY-OFF switch does not switch off the DLT-V83 with
integrated UPS
Please note: If a DLT-V83 with integrated UPS is installed in a vehicle, the
EMERGENCY-OFF switch of the vehicle has no effect on the DLT-V83.
This also effects the peripherals supplied by the device.
Use only original power supply cables from Advantech-DLoG
Advantech-DLoG power cables meet the specific requirements for low-
temperature flexibility, UV resistance, oil resistance, etc.
Use only original power supply cables from Advantech-DLoG.
If other power supply cables are used: The user/operator of the DLT-V83 is solely
responsible for the resulting damage.
Only connect DLT-V83 devices with DC power supply unit to Safety Extra Low
Voltage (SELV) circuits
DLT-V83 industrial PCs may only be connected to a SELV circuit (Safety Extra
Low Voltage).
Do not connect/disconnect any cables during thunderstorms
Do not connect/disconnect cables of the DLT-V83 during a thunderstorm.
When cleaning the device: Disconnect the DLT-V83 from the power supply
Disconnect the DLT-V83 from the power supply before cleaning it.
Fuse of the power supply units blows repeatedly
If the fuse of the integrated power supply units blows again immediately after
replacement, there is a risk of electrical shock:
Send in the DLT-V83 immediately for repair.
Running cables in accordance with national regulations
When running cables, please follow the appropriate national installation
regulations.
Ensure that the power cable is run so that it is mechanically protected.
