- Hob²Hood (7): This feature indicates the function to control the hood from a compatible hob. For some models, the symbol is present on the control panel.
Usage Features
The cooker hood offers various features to optimize its performance during daily use.
Using the Hood:
The recommended speed for the hood depends on the type of cooking activity:
- First Speed (Vo-1): Ideal for heating up food or cooking with covered pots.
- Second Speed (82): Suitable for cooking with covered pots on multiple cooking zones or burners, or for gentle frying.
- Third Speed (83): Recommended for boiling and frying large quantities of food without a lid, or when cooking on multiple cooking zones or burners.
- Maximum Speed (84): Best for boiling and frying large quantities of food without a lid, especially when there is high humidity.
It is advised to let the hood operate for approximately 15 minutes after cooking to ensure all fumes are cleared. To operate the hood, simply press the first speed button (Vo-1) to switch it on. If needed, the speed can be adjusted by pressing the desired speed button.
Hob²Hood Function:
This is an automatic function that connects the hob with the hood via an infrared signal communicator. The fan speed is automatically determined based on the hob's mode setting and the temperature of the hottest cookware. Users can also manually operate the fan from the hob. More detailed instructions on using this function can be found in the hob user manual.

Maintenance Features
Regular care and cleaning are essential to maintain the appliance's performance and longevity.
Notes on Cleaning:
- Always use original spare parts for maintenance.
- Avoid using abrasive detergents and brushes on the appliance's surface.
- Clean the surface with a soft cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent.
- After cooking, allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning to prevent stains. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towels.
- Clean stains with a mild detergent.
Cleaning the Grease Filter:
The grease filters should be cleaned monthly to prevent fat accumulation, which can pose a fire risk.
- Pull the cover to open it.
- Press the handle of the mounting clip on the filter panel underneath the hood (1).
- Slightly tilt the front of the filter downwards (2), then pull it out. Repeat for all filters.
- Clean the filters using a sponge with non-abrasive detergents or in a dishwasher. If using a dishwasher, set it to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may discolour, but this does not affect its performance.
- To remount the filters, follow the removal steps in reverse order.
Cleaning the Charcoal Filter:
The charcoal filter's saturation time varies with cooking type and grease filter cleaning regularity. It is washable and should be cleaned or regenerated approximately every two months. Refer to the leaflet included with the accessory for specific instructions.
To remove the filter:
- Remove the grease filters first.
- Remove the clips holding the filter bed (1), then the filter bed (2).
- Wash the filter bed in hot water without detergent or use a dishwasher. If using a dishwasher, do not use rinse aids or other detergents, and do not fill it with dishes.
- Allow the filter bed to dry completely or use an oven. Set the oven to a maximum temperature of 60°C for 10 minutes.
- To install the filter, perform the steps in reverse order, ensuring the filter is fully dried.
The filter bed should be replaced every 2 years or if the cloth is damaged.
Replacing the Lamp:
The appliance is equipped with an LED lamp and a separate control gear (LED driver). These components can only be replaced by a technician. In case of a malfunction, refer to the "Service" section in the "Safety Instructions" chapter.
