1. Before cleaning, always unplug the
appliance. Wipe the outside of the
kettle with a damp cloth. Occasionally
rinse out the kettle with clean water.
Warning! Never immerse the
housing, plug, and cord in water or
any other uid.
3. Decalcifying is recommended every
three months for best performance.
Fill the kettle with water and
decalcifyer according to decalcifyer
product instructions. Do not boil
the solution as it could foam over.
Afterwards, rinse kettle thorougly
with fresh water.
2. To clean the mesh lter, grab the
mesh lter and lift it out. Rinse
under clean, running water, and insert
it back into the kettle in the correct
orientation.

Problem Possible cause Solution
The appliance switches o before boiling. Too much lime scale at the base of the kettle. Run the decalcifying procedure.
The appliance does not switch o. Close lid until it locks.
Instert the strainer correcttly.
The appliance cannot be switched on. After operating with little or no water, the
appliance has not cooled down suently.
Allow to cool a short time and try again.
