This document is a user manual for the AEG Dishwasher model FEB52630ZM, providing comprehensive information on its operation, maintenance, and safety.
Function Description
The AEG FEB52630ZM is a dishwasher designed for household and similar applications, such as farmhouses, staff kitchen areas in shops and offices, and residential environments like hotels and bed & breakfasts. Its primary function is to clean dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans efficiently. The appliance features various wash programs tailored to different load types and soil degrees, including an ECO program for efficient water and energy consumption, and an AUTO program that automatically adjusts settings based on soil level and load quantity. A dedicated program is also available for cleaning the appliance's interior to prevent limescale and grease buildup.
The dishwasher incorporates several options to enhance washing and drying results. The "GlassCare" option provides special care for delicate loads by reducing wash temperature to 45 °C, protecting glassware from damage. The "ExtraPower" option improves washing results by increasing wash temperature and duration. The "ExtraHygiene" option ensures better cleaning by maintaining a temperature between 65 and 70 °C for at least 10 minutes during the final rinsing phase. The "AirDry" function improves drying results and reduces energy consumption by automatically opening the appliance door during the drying phase.
The appliance includes indicators for salt and rinse aid levels, washing, rinsing, and drying phases, delay start, GlassCare, ExtraPower, and ExtraHygiene options, providing clear feedback on its operational status. The "Auto Off" function automatically deactivates the appliance when a program is complete or if no program has been started for 5 minutes, contributing to energy saving.

Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of the appliance.
Internal Cleaning:
- The appliance interior should be cleaned with a moist soft cloth. Abrasive products, sharp tools, strong chemicals, or scourers should not be used.
- The door, including the rubber gasket, should be wiped clean weekly.
- A dishwasher cleaning product should be used at least once every two months, following product instructions.
- The automatic cleaning program should be run for optimal results.
- To prevent grease and limescale buildup from short-duration programs, long-duration programs should be run at least twice a month.
Filter System Cleaning:
- The filter system, composed of three parts (flat filter A, filter B, and filter C), should be checked and cleaned after each use.
- To clean, turn filter B counterclockwise and remove it, then remove filter C from filter B, and finally remove flat filter A.
- Wash all filters thoroughly.
- Ensure no food residues or soil remain around the sump edge.
- Reassemble the filters by placing flat filter A under its guides, then reassembling filters B and C, and turning filter B clockwise until it locks. Incorrect filter positioning can lead to poor washing results and damage.
Spray Arm Cleaning:
- The lower spray arm should be regularly cleaned to prevent clogging. It is removed by pulling it upwards. After washing under running water, use a thin pointed tool (e.g., a toothpick) to clear any clogged holes. To reinstall, press it downwards.
- The upper spray arm should not be removed. Clogged openings can be cleared with a thin pointed object.
Salt and Rinse Aid Refill:
- The salt container and rinse aid dispenser should be refilled when their respective indicators turn on.
Troubleshooting:
- The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common problems and alarm codes (e.g., i10, i11 for water fill issues; i20 for drain issues; i30 for anti-flood device activation; iF1 for high water level; i41-i44 for water level sensor malfunction; i51-i59 or i5A-i5F for pump malfunction; i61 or i69 for high water temperature or sensor malfunction; iC0 or iC3 for technical malfunction).
- Solutions often involve checking connections, ensuring filters are clean, adjusting settings, or restarting the appliance.
- For issues not covered or persistent problems, contacting an Authorised Service Centre is recommended.
- The manual warns against using the appliance if a problem is not completely fixed and advises unplugging it until it operates correctly.
