Usage Features
- Program Selection: The dishwasher offers various programs including ECO (normal soil), AUTO (all types of soil, automatically adjusts settings), Heavy soil (pots and pans), 30MIN (fresh soil, quick wash), and a program for delicate crockery and glassware.
- Water Softener: Adjustable based on water hardness (1 to 10 levels, with factory setting at 5). It's crucial to set the correct level to ensure good washing results and keep the salt refill indicator active.
- Rinse Aid Dispenser: Automatically releases rinse aid during the hot rinse phase for streak-free drying. An indicator notifies when to refill. The release quantity can be adjusted (1 to 4 or 6).
- AirDry: Improves drying results by automatically opening the door during the drying phase. It is activated by default for all programs except the delicate crockery and glassware program. It can be deactivated if children have access to the appliance.
- XtraDry Option: Boosts drying performance, potentially affecting program duration, water consumption, and last rinse temperature. It is a permanent option for all programs except ECO.
- TimeSaver Option: Increases water pressure and temperature, shortening washing and drying phases by approximately 50%. Drying results may decrease.
- Delay Start: Allows setting a delay time from 1 to 24 hours before a program starts.
- Auto Off Function: Deactivates the appliance automatically 5 minutes after program completion or if a program has not started, saving energy.
- Detergent Usage: Use dishwasher-specific detergent (powder or tablets). For programs with a prewash phase, a small quantity of detergent can be added to a separate compartment.
- Loading Baskets: Load dishwasher-safe items, ensuring they do not bond or touch, and that spray arms can rotate freely. Hollow items should be placed with openings down.
Maintenance Features
- Filter Cleaning: The filter system consists of three parts (flat filter, cylindrical filter, and fine filter) that need regular checking and cleaning to prevent decreased washing results.
- Spray Arm Cleaning: If the holes in the spray arms become clogged, remaining soil parts should be removed with a pointed object.
- External Cleaning: Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth and neutral detergents. Avoid abrasive products.
- Internal Cleaning: Regularly clean the interior, including the rubber gasket of the door. Running long-duration programs at least twice a month or using specific cleaning products monthly is recommended to prevent grease and limescale deposits.
- Salt Container Refill: Fill with rough salt designed for dishwashers to recharge the water softener.
- Rinse Aid Refill: Fill the rinse aid dispenser when the indicator turns on.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues, including problems with program start, water filling/draining, anti-flood device activation, program duration, leaks, door closing, rattling sounds, and unsatisfactory washing/drying results. Alarm codes are displayed for certain problems. For issues not covered or persistent problems, contacting an Authorised Service Centre is advised.
