Function Description
The AEG FSE83727P is a dishwasher designed for household and similar applications, such as farmhouses, staff kitchen areas, hotels, motels, and bed & breakfast environments. Its primary function is to wash and dry crockery and cutlery efficiently, offering various programs and options to suit different load types and soil levels.
Key features include:
- MY TIME Selection Bar: Allows users to select wash cycles based on duration, ranging from 30 minutes (Quick) to 4 hours (ECO).
- EXTRAS Options: Provides additional functionalities like ExtraSilent (reduces noise), ExtraPower (improves washing results by increasing temperature and duration), and GlassCare (special care for delicate items by reducing wash temperature to 45 °C).
- AUTO Sense Program: Automatically adjusts the wash cycle based on the type and soil level of the load, optimizing water temperature, quantity, and program duration.
- ECOMETER: An indicator on the display that shows the energy and water consumption impact of the selected program, with more bars indicating lower consumption. "ECO" signifies the most environmentally friendly program for a normally soiled load.
- Internal Light: Illuminates when the door is opened or the appliance is switched on with the door open, turning off automatically after some time to save energy.
- AirDry Function: Automatically opens the appliance door during the drying phase to improve drying performance and reduce energy consumption.

Usage Features
- Control Panel: Features an On/Off/Reset button, Delay Start button, Display, MY TIME selection bar, EXTRAS buttons, and an AUTO Sense program button.
- Display Information: Shows ECOMETER, indicators (rinse aid, salt, machine care, drying phase, delay start, pause, alert), program names and durations, delay start time, and information texts.
- Setting Mode: Allows users to configure basic settings like key tones, latest program selection, display on floor (TimeBeam), brightness, language, and reset settings. It can be accessed by pressing and holding "Quick" and "ECO" simultaneously for about 3 seconds before starting a program.
- Detergent Usage: Only dishwasher-specific detergent (gel, powder, or tablets) should be used. Dosage information is typically found on the product packaging. A small quantity can be placed on the inner part of the door for programs with a prewash phase.
- Salt Usage: Essential for the water softener, especially in areas with hard water. The salt container should be refilled when the salt indicator is on. Multi-tabs containing salt are not always sufficient for hard water.
- Loading Baskets: Items should be arranged to ensure proper water circulation and avoid touching or covering each other. Sharp cutlery should be placed with points down.
- Delay Start: Allows users to postpone the program start by 1 to 24 hours.
- Opening Door During Operation: Pauses the program. Closing the door resumes the wash cycle. Opening the door for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase will end the program, unless AirDry is active.
- Cancelling Programs: Programs or delay start can be cancelled by pressing and holding the relevant button for about 3 seconds.
Maintenance Features
- Internal Cleaning: The appliance interior, including the rubber gasket of the door, should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. Abrasive products, strong chemicals, or sharp tools should be avoided. A dishwasher cleaning product should be used at least every two months.
- Filter Cleaning: The filter system (consisting of 3 parts) should be checked and cleaned regularly to prevent poor washing results and damage to the drain pump. Instructions for disassembly and reassembly are provided.
- Spray Arm Cleaning: The upper and lower spray arms should be cleaned regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes, which can lead to unsatisfactory washing results. A thin pointed tool, like a toothpick, can be used to clear the holes.
