Usage Features
The hob is operated using sensor fields.
- Activation/Deactivation: Touch the ON/OFF sensor field for 1 second.
- Heat Setting Adjustment: Use the
^ (increase) and v (decrease) sensor fields. Heat settings range from 1 to 9.
- Outer Ring Control: For multi-zone cooking areas, touch the dedicated sensor field to activate or deactivate the outer ring, adjusting the cooking surface to cookware size.
- Residual Heat Indicator (H): Displays if a cooking zone is still hot after use, indicating a burn risk.
- Child Safety Device (L): Prevents accidental operation. To activate, turn on the hob, do not set a heat setting, then touch
v of the two front cooking zones simultaneously for 4 seconds. To deactivate, repeat the process until 0 appears. The function can be temporarily suspended for a single cooking session.
- Automatic Switch Off: The hob automatically deactivates under certain conditions:
- All cooking zones are deactivated.
- No heat setting is set after activation.
- An object is spilled or placed on the control panel for more than 10 seconds (an acoustic signal sounds, and the hob deactivates).
- A cooking zone is left operating for an extended period without changes to the heat setting. The deactivation time varies based on the heat setting (e.g., 6 hours for settings 1-2, 1.5 hours for settings 6-9).
- Cookware Recommendations: Use cookware with a thick, flat bottom. Enamelled steel, aluminium, or copper bottoms may cause discoloration on the glass-ceramic surface. Avoid using empty cookware or aluminium foil on the appliance.

- General Cleaning:
- Clean the hob after each use.
- Ensure cookware bottoms are clean to prevent scratches.
- Scratches or dark stains do not affect hob operation.

- Wipe dry with a soft cloth after cleaning.
- Immediate Cleaning: Remove melted plastic, plastic foil, sugar, and food with sugar immediately using a special scraper at an acute angle to prevent damage.
- Cool-Down Cleaning: Once the hob is sufficiently cool, remove limescale rings, water rings, fat stains, and shiny metallic discoloration.
- Shiny Metallic Discoloration Removal: Use a solution of water with vinegar and a moist cloth.
- Electrical Disconnection: Disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply before maintenance or cleaning. Do not use water spray or steam cleaners.
- General Safety: The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Children under 8 years old must be continuously supervised. Do not operate with an external timer or remote-control system. Unattended cooking with fat or oil can be dangerous and lead to fire. Never extinguish a fire with water; switch off the appliance and cover the flame. Do not store items on cooking surfaces. Metallic objects should not be placed on the hob surface. If the glass-ceramic surface is cracked, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains immediately.

Follow installation instructions, maintaining minimum distances from other appliances. Seal cut surfaces to prevent moisture. Protect the bottom from steam and moisture. Do not install near doors or windows. Ensure sufficient air circulation if installed above drawers.
- Electrical Connection Safety: All electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician. The appliance must be earthed. Disconnect from power supply before any operation. Ensure rating plate parameters match mains supply. Use correct electricity mains cable and ensure it is not tangled. Install shock protection and strain relief clamp. Ensure mains plug/cable does not touch hot appliance/cookware. Do not use multi-plug adapters or extension cables. Do not damage the mains plug/cable. The isolation device must have a contact opening width of minimum 3 mm.
