Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for optimal performance and product longevity. A service kit (part #9950209) is available, containing a new ActivePure® Target, UV bulb, and ActivePure® Purification Plate. These components are recommended for annual replacement.
For maintenance or replacement, the unit must be disconnected from its power source. The lower half of the case needs to be removed by unscrewing the front screws and sliding it back and up. The Bulb Assembly, which includes the target screen and bulb, can then be lifted from its tabs and disconnected from the main circuit board. Reinstallation is the reverse process, ensuring proper alignment of the 3-pin connector and tabs, and securing the case with screws.
