WHAT'S IN THE BOX
SET UP
TROUBLESHOOTING
I AM NOT USING AN AFTERGLOW LVL HEADSET AND CANNOT HEAR AUDIO
FROM ONE OF MY EAR CUPS:
• Is your headset securely plugged into the adapter’s 3.5mm port?
• Is your Afterglow LVL Adapter securely plugged into your Xbox One Controller’s
PMD port?
• Does the headset have a 4-pin configuration, indicated on the 3.5mm jack by 4
separate rings? If it does not, the headset will not work properly.
I CANNOT HEAR GAME AUDIO:
• Are your headset and adapter plugged securely into the controller?
• Is the volume on your adapter increased to an audible level?
• Are your game and chat audio balanced to ensure your game audio is audible?
• Has the game audio volume on your Xbox One console been increased?
I CANNOT HEAR CHAT AUDIO:
• Are your headset and adapter plugged securely into the controller?
• Is the volume on your adapter at an audible level?
• Are your game and chat audio balanced to ensure chat audio is audible?
• Did you check your Xbox One settings to ensure your controller is selected as
the microphone source?
OTHERS CANNOT HEAR ME:
• Is your microphone muted? If your in-line controls has an orange color
indicated on the switch, that means your microphone is muted.
• Is your headset’s microphone close to your mouth?
• Does your headset have the correct 4-pin configuration?
• Are chat capabilities enabled on your Xbox One’s audio settings?

1. Plug the Afterglow LVL Headset Adapter into your Xbox One Wireless Controller.
2. Plug your LVL headset or communicator’s 3.5mm jack into the 3.5mm aux port.
3. Using the controls on your adapter, adjust your headset’s game and chat audio to
your preference.
