How to fix poor product flow in AGI Westfield MKX10-63 Farm Equipment?
    • P
      patrickmikaylaAug 7, 2025
Poor product flow can occur for several reasons. The input speed may be too slow, so try increasing the engine rpm. The material flow from the truck or hopper might be inadequate; in this case, increase the flow of material. If the flow into the hopper is restricted, clear the grating of obstructions. Also, consider that unloading rates are designed for dry grain, so if the material is too wet or heavy, it can cause poor flow. Finally, inspect the flighting; if it's worn, repair or replace it as required.

What to do if the flighting does not turn on AGI Farm Equipment?
    • C
      Cory PrestonAug 13, 2025
If the flighting isn't turning, several issues could be the cause. First, check for obstructions in the auger flighting and remove them. Next, inspect the coupler bolt below the non-rotating section; if it's broken or missing, replace it. Also, check the bearing; if it's seized, identify and replace it. A broken chain can also be the culprit, so identify the chain and repair or replace it. Another potential problem is a seized gearbox, which would need fixing or replacing. Similarly, a broken or missing gearbox coupler bolt should be replaced. Finally, check if a PTO shear bolt has failed and replace both PTO shear bolts if needed.

Why won't my AGI Westfield MKX10-63 auger raise or lower?
    • A
      angelahoffmanAug 19, 2025
If your auger isn't raising or lowering, start by checking if the hydraulic valve is closed and open it. If that's not the issue, the hydraulic pressure may be inadequate; adjust the pressure if possible, or use an alternate hydraulic supply. A damaged cylinder can also prevent movement, so fix or replace the cylinder. Check for a missing or broken cylinder pin and replace it if necessary. A hydraulic system leak could also be the cause; identify and repair any leaks. Finally, make sure the auger movement isn't obstructed, and clear any obstructions.

How to reduce noise from AGI Farm Equipment auger flighting?
    • J
      Joel WilsonAug 25, 2025
Noisy auger flighting can be caused by an obstruction in the auger tube, so identify and remove any obstructions. Also, check the flighting shaft bolts; if they are loose or damaged, tighten or replace them.

What to do if AGI Westfield MKX10-63 auger will not stay elevated?
    • A
      Alexandra AndersonAug 31, 2025
If the auger won't stay in the elevated position, there could be a leak in the auger hydraulic cylinder, fittings, or hose. Lower the auger to the transport position and repair leaks as required. Alternatively, there may be a leak in the tractor hydraulics. Close the hydraulic valve to isolate the cylinder from tractor hydraulics.
