The material flow from the truck or hopper might be inadequate; in this case, increase the flow of material. If the flow into the hopper is restricted, clear the grating of obstructions. Also, consider that unloading rates are designed for dry grain, so if the material is too wet or heavy, it can cause poor flow. Finally, inspect the flighting; if it's worn, repair or replace it as required.

Similarly, a broken or missing gearbox coupler bolt should be replaced. Finally, check if a PTO shear bolt has failed and replace both PTO shear bolts if needed.
