Situation:
A bumper is available to enhance the serviceability and to protect nearby assembly from swing deck.
Solution/Action:
A rubber bumper – E8361-40001 is available to improve the serviceability of the instrument. This will
also ensure the swing deck well separated from other nearby assembly.
Refer to the PNA Service Guide for instruction on removing the PNA front panel. To view this
Service Guide information, use the following steps:
1. Go to http://na.tm.agilent.com/pna/documents.html.
2. Click on the appropriate Service Guide.
3. When the PDF of the Service Guide is displayed, look at the bookmarks in the left column. Expand
the Contents section by clicking on the plus sign next to its bookmark.
4. Scroll through the Contents section bookmarks to locate “Repair & Replacement Procedures.”
5. Click on the title/hyperlink for the section “Receiver Deck.”
6. Follow the instructions in the subsection “Raising and Lowering the Receiver Deck.”
7. Once the Receiver Deck has been lower, installed the Bumper as shown in Figure 2.
