Cut the two rangefinder arms 30-05
from the frame and check the fit in the
holes on either side of the rangefinder
dome 30-04; note that one fits on the
left and the other on the right. The peg
on the base of the rangefinder arm fits
into the hole on part 30-04 (see blue
arrow). Check that you have the
rangefinder arms correctly aligned, so
that they will point forwards (see inset
and next step).
Check how the assembled rangefinder
fits near the back of the deck structure.
A peg on the base of the rangefinder
tower fits into a hole in the bridge deck
26-01. Note that the rangefinder arms
(30-05, see arrow) are pointing forwards.
When you have found the correct
position, glue it in place

A further section has been added
to the hull (not shown) and the first
rangefinder tower has been fitted
to the superstructure.
