Assemble aerator knives onto spool assemblies and insert bearings into tubes.
Attach wheel brackets to the shaft using specified bolts and nuts.
Assemble spool assemblies, spacers, and washer onto the shaft.
Attach secondary wheel bracket and end plates to the shaft ends.
Assemble hitch bracket to tongue and secure with hitch pin.
Fasten tongue to tray using bolts, spacers, and nuts.
Align and fasten middle brace and end plates to the tray.
Install lift handle and ensure its locking mechanism is secure.
Prepare the lawn and start the tractor at low speed.
Operate aerator in straight lines, avoid sharp turns, and adjust speed.
Aerate slopes safely and add weight for deeper penetration.
Avoid wet ground, crossing paths, and rake plugs.
Sharpen plugger points and prepare for storage by cleaning and oiling.
Lubricate spool assemblies, shaft, and wheel hubs.
