Why my Agway AGF550A Tiller will not start?

  There are several reasons why your Agway Tiller might not be starting. It could be due to: * Lack of fuel: Refill the fuel tank. * Improper choking: Consult the “TO START ENGINE” section in the Operation section. * Engine flooding: Wait a few minutes before trying again. * Dirty air cleaner: Clean or replace the air cleaner cartridge. * Water in the fuel: Empty the fuel tank and carburetor, then refill with fresh gasoline. * Clogged fuel tank: Remove and clean the fuel tank. * Loose spark plug wire: Ensure the spark plug wire is correctly seated on the plug. * Faulty spark plug or incorrect gap: Replace the spark plug or adjust the gap. * Carburetor out of adjustment: Make the necessary carburetor adjustments.
