To adjust seat height:
Loosen the seat post clamp. The open and closed positions
of the seat post clamp are shown below (open position on
left, closed
position on right);
Raise or lower the seat post in the seat tube;
Check that the seat is straight before and after; and
Re-tighten the seat post clamp to the recommended
torque in Tightening Torque on page 27.
Adjust Seat Position
Always tighten fasteners to the correct torque to prevent serious
injury or death. Bolts that are too tight can stretch and deform.
Bolts that are too loose can move and fatigue. Either condition
can lead to a sudden failure of the bolt and result in a crash.
