The Aiphone DE-UR is a Door Station Adaptor designed to integrate door stations, audio, or PanTilt video with the TD Phone Selective Call Intercom system.

Function Description

The DE-UR acts as an adaptor, allowing the connection of various door stations (audio or PanTilt video) to TD-H or TD-Z series intercom masters. It enables selective communication from TD-H/TD-Z masters to the door station and generates call-in tones to the masters when a door station is activated. The device also includes dry closure contacts for door release control. For TD-H systems requiring two door stations, the DE-UR features a switch (preset to 'A') to differentiate between slow and faster intermittent call tones.

Maintenance Features

  • Installation Precautions:
    • Do not connect any terminal to AC power lines.
    • Unplug all power supplies before making wiring connections.
    • Designed for indoor installation only.
    • Should be located close to the PS-12A (PS-12C) power supply for optimal DC12V feed.
    • Wiring to the EL-9S door release must be run in a separate jacketed cable, apart from intercom wiring, to prevent interference.
  • Mounting: The chassis mounts at two points, and the front case can be easily opened by loosening a bottom screw, lifting it off the prongs, and disconnecting the unit for wiring terminations.
  • Warranty: Aiphone provides a one-year warranty covering defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. The warranty covers bench repairs only, and repairs must be made at a designated shop. It does not cover misuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorized alterations.
