Before putting the AutoClean In-Place Wash
Electronic Air Cleaner into service, check through
the following items to be sure it is properly
installed.
1. If outdoor air is used, care must be taken to
prevent direct delivery of cold outside air
across the electronic cell. Preheat the air in
some manner or mix with return air.
2. Check over the installation for correct sheet-
metal, plumbing and electrical work.
3. Turning vanes should be used in duct elbow to
provide even air distribution across the cell.
4. When it is necessary to change the duct size
close to the air cleaner, use gradual transitions
to reduce turbulence.
