A. WARRANTY
AirTap™ Hybrid Water Heater purchased in the United States and Canada comes with a limited lifeme warranty. All
warranty services must be serviced by our Cered Servicer or approved and authorized by AirGenerate™ Support
Department. Any servicing done by other than our Cered Serviers or approved by AirGenerate™ Support
Department will VOID all warranty.
What AirGenerate™ will cover:
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY ON TANK
The limited lifeme warranty on the tank covers the tank assembly, consisng of outer stainless steel shell and inner stainless steel tank. If the
tank assembly develops leak due to defecve material or workmanship, the unit will be replaced with the nearest
comparable model available at the me of replacement OR repair the exisng unit at our sole discreon and at no cost to the
original user except as set forth below.
Exclusions and Limitaons:
1. Warranty extends to the original buyer and is not transferable.
2. Warranty is valid as long as the unit remains installed at its original installaon locaon.
3. Warranty is valid for NORMAL RESIDENTIAL use.
4. Warranty is valid for installaons in the United States and Canada.
5. Life of the tank assembly is assumed to be 15 years.
The warranty is void and shall not apply if:
1. The unit was not installed or operated according to manufacturer’s installaon and operang instrucons.
2. The unit was installed in violaon of applicable state or local plumbing, housing or codes.
3. The unit was not installed by a qualied service personnel.
4. The failure is a result of improper or negligent operaon, accident, misuse, freezing, unauthorized alteraon or improper
repair .
5. The failure is a result of the tank not being completely lled with potable water that is free to circulate at all mes and is within normal
impurity, temperature and pressure limits.
6. The unit is used in conjuncon with a recirculang pump or water soener or radiant heang or with any other appliance or for any other
applicaon that is not explicitly authorized by the manufacturer.
7. The anode rod is not checked, or if needed replaced, as per instrucons in the Maintenance secon of the manufacturer’s
installaon manual.
8. The unit is operated under adverse local condions such as sediment or lime precipitate in the tank or corrosive elements in the
atmosphere.
9. The original unit is not registered with the manufacturer with the correct serial number within 30 days of the purchase of the unit.
10. Failure to produce bills of sale or receipts for proof of service required by the manufacturer.
11. Failure to advise malfuncon to the manufacturer within 14 days of malfuncon occurrence.
12. Failure to allow manufacturer’s appointed representave to inspect the unit.
This warranty does not cover:
1. Shipping, labor and permits costs pertaining to disassembly, return, delivery or re-installaon of the original or replacement unit.
2. Damage to adjacent area or property caused by leakage or malfuncon.
3. Change in the properes of potable water, including but not limited to noise, taste, odor and discoloraon.

Any part of the AirTap™ Hybrid Water Heater failed due to defecve materials or
workmanship. AirGenerate™ will cover for labor charges related to replacing the
defecve part or workmanship.
Second through Tenth
Year
(start from date of original
purchase)
Any part of the AirTap™ Hybrid Water Heater failed due to defecve materials or
workmanship. AirGenerate™ WILL NOT cover for labor charges related to replacing
the defecve part or workmanship.
Limited Lifeme
Limited lifeme warranty on tank only.
