Aiwa GE-950 E - LISTENING WITH PROGRAM CURVES; Using Preset Equalizer Curves

The unit has four program curves preset at the
factory, ROCK, POP, JAZZ, CLASSIC.

Press POWER to turn on the unit, and select the
desired sound source with TAPE MONITOR.
1 Press GEQ to turn on the graphic .
equaliser function.
The words “GRAPHIC” and “EQUALISER” are
enclosed by red rectangles in the display win-
dow.
2 Pressoneofthe program curve buttons.
E.g.) Press JAZZ to select JAZZ.
Red triangles appear on both sides of the curve
name in the display, and the selected equal-
isation curve is displayed for about 5 seconds.
Then the display changes to the spectrum
analyser display.
To listen to music without the graphic equal-
iser effect
Press GEQ to turn off the graphic equaliser func-
tion. The red rectangles around the GRAPHIC and
EQUALISER indicators will go out. To turn on the
function again, press GEQ.
Sound quality of program curves
ROCK: Powerful sound emphasising treble
and bass
POP: More presence of vocals and midrange
JAZZ: Sound enriched with heavy bass and
fine treble
CLASSIC: Round, balanced mix from high range
to Jow range

contro! supplied with the optional stereo integrated
amplifier AIWA XA-950.

Driicken Sie die POWER-Taste zum Einschalten

2 Dricken Sie eine der
Programmkurven-Tasten.
Beispiel: Driicken Sie die JAZZ-Taste zur
Wahl von JAZZ.
Rote Dreiecke werden auf beiden Seiten des |
Kurvennamens im Display angezeigt und die
gewahite Entzerrerkurve wird fur etwa finf
Sekunden dargestellt. Dann geht das Display
auf die Anzeige des graphischen Entzerrers
Uber.
Zur Wiedergabe von Musik ohne den
graphischen Entzerrer-Effekt
Driicken Sie die GEQ-Taste zum Ausschalten der
graphischen Entzerrer-Funktion. Die roten
Rechtecke um die GRAPHIC- und EQUALIZER-
Anzeigen erléschen. Zum Einschalten der Funktion
wieder die GEQ-Taste drucken.

ROCK: Kraftiger Klang mit Betonung von
Hodhen und Bas :
POP: Gr6éBere Prasenz von Vokalstimmen
und Mitteltonbereich
JAZZ: ’ Klang wird mit schwerem BaB und

CLASSIC: Ausgewogene und balancierte
Mischung vom hohen bis zum tiefen

Anmerkung
Sie kénnen die Programmkurve auch mit der
Fernbedienung des Stereo-Verstarkers XA-950
von AIWA einstelien.
