Levelling the machine
Place the machine on solid, dry and level ground.
First check if the legs are closely attached to the cabinet. If not, please turn them
to their original positions and tighten the nuts with a wrench.
To determine whether levelling is necessary,
place a spirit level on top of the washer and
hold it upright against the housing to identify
any inclinations (Fig. 4).
To find out which leg needs to be adjusted,
press the four corners of the top cover in
sequence. If the washing machine is not
stable when being pressed, this leg needs to
be adjusted.
Loosen the lock nut with the wrench and turn
the leg by hand until it makes close contact
with the floor.
Turn the lock nut clockwise to raise the leg
and anticlockwise to lower it (Fig. 5-2, 5-3).
To lock the foot, hold the leg with one hand
and fasten the nut closely to the cabinet with
the other.
Use the same steps to shorten or lengthen
any other leg that needs adjusting.
WARNING!
It is very important to level the washing machine carefully, especially if your floor is
uneven. Failure to do so may result in the machine shaking and moving during the
spin cycle, or out-of-balance problems.
