Function Description:
The AKAI AL2808TBK is a remote-controlled color LED television with an integrated digital/cable TV (DVB-T/C) tuner and a built-in DVD player. It serves as a central entertainment hub, allowing users to watch broadcast television, play DVDs, and access media files from USB storage. The TV supports various input sources including HDMI, Scart, VGA, and USB, making it versatile for connecting external devices such as DVD players, PVRs, video game consoles, and PCs. Usage Features:
- Remote Control: Full-featured remote control for power, volume, channel, source selection, menu navigation, teletext, and media playback. Requires 2 AAA batteries.
- TV Control Switch: A physical button on the TV allows basic control of volume, program, source, and standby/on functions.
- First Time Installation (FTI): Guides the user through initial setup, including language selection, search type (Aerial/Cable), and channel scanning. Supports Logical Channel Number (LCN) system for channel sorting.

- Troubleshooting & Tips: The manual provides guidance for common issues such as the TV not turning on (check power cord, remote batteries), poor picture (check TV system, signal level, antenna, channel frequency, connected devices), no picture (check transmission, input source, antenna connection/cable), and no sound (check mute, volume, balance, AV cables).
- Environmental Information: The TV is designed to consume less energy. Users are encouraged to use the Eco power save mode and switch off/disconnect the TV from mains when not in use to reduce energy consumption.
- Disposal Information: Symbols indicate that the equipment and batteries should not be disposed of as general household waste. Users should utilize appropriate collection systems or facilities for recycling. The "Pb" sign on batteries indicates the presence of lead.
- Safety Information: Emphasizes precautions against electric shock, proper ventilation (at least 10 cm free space around the set), avoiding unstable surfaces, use in moderate climates, accessible power cord, proper handling of power cord, avoiding humid/damp places, protection from direct sunlight/heat sources/open flames, and warnings about excessive sound pressure from earphones. It also advises against unsupervised use by children or individuals with reduced capabilities. In case of lightning or storms, or extended absence, disconnect the TV from the mains.
- Qualified Personnel: For damaged power cords or if liquid falls into the cabinet, servicing should be done by qualified personnel. For wall mounting, it is recommended to plug all cables into the back of the TV before mounting.
