PRINCIPLE
(SEE

5)
During
tape
movement,
the
tape
passes
over
three
holes
in
the
reel
table.
As
the
tape
passes
over
the
holes,
a
light
bulb
(electric
eye)
located
underneath
the
reel
table
is
activated
which
causes
C.D.S.
to
produce
a
pulse.
TR-501
operates
as
long
as
this
pulse
continues,
and
TR-502
is
inoperative
as
well
as
RL-501
Relay.
When
tape
movement
stops
and
reel
revolutions
are
stopped,
there
is
no
pulse
and
the
operation
of
TR-501
and
TR-502
reverses.
At
this
time,
the
relay
is
actuated
and
stops
the
motor.
