  If your Akira Air Conditioner won't start, begin by checking the power supply and ensuring the plug is securely connected. Examine the circuit and test the breaker, also check the resistance. If these are fine, inspect the wiring between the indoor and outdoor units, referring to the electrical diagram for correct connections. A faulty wireless remote control or a burnt-out controller fuse could also be the culprit. Also check the connection wire between strong current board and light current board of the controller, and fix it firmly if needed. Finally, verify the transformer output wire connection and check for voltage output. You may also want to test the insulative resistance for earthing to confirm whether unit is current leakage or not.

Clean the air filter, or indoor unit filter, and ensure the fan speed isn't set too low. Check for refrigerant leakage and charge the refrigerant if needed. Ensure proper ventilation around the outdoor unit and clean any dust from the heat exchanger. Other potential issues include a malfunctioning compressor (replace the compressor), a faulty 4-way valve (replace the 4-way valve), blocked capillary (replace the capillary), or a blocked one-way valve in the outdoor unit (replace one-way valve). Also make sure that valve gate flow volume is adequate.

  If your Akira Air Conditioner is leaking water, the water drainage pipe may be blocked or broken and you should replace it. Another cause could be that the joint of refrigerant pipe was not wrapped tightly, in this case you should wrap again tightly.
