Maintenance and care
Caution - Danger of electrocution!
Always disconnect the mains plug when carry-
ing out maintenance or repair work!
Caution - Risk of injury!
Always wear working gloves when carrying out
maintenance or repair work.
1. After each use, clean the cutting blades and the
housing with a brush or cloth. Do not use wa-
ter and/or aggressive cleaning agents - risk of
corrosion.
2. Lightly oil the cutting bar with a suitable protec-
tive lubricant.
3. Check that all screws are rmly seated.
4. Regularly check the cutting blades for damage.
If the cutting blades show damage or excessi-
ve wear, please contact the nearest AL-KO ser-
vice centre.
Storage
The protective cover can be wall-mounted
and used as a bracket for holding the hedge
trimmer.
Make sure it is rmly attached! (

Always disconnect the mains plug when storing
the machine
Always store the machine with the protective co-
ver attached
Store the equipment in an area which is kept dry,
and which cannot be accessed by children or un-
authorised persons
Secure the trimmer with a padlock* (

Disposal
Do not dispose of old equipment,
batteries or accumulators as household
waste!
The trimmer, packaging, and accessories were made
with recyclable materials, and should be disposed of
accordingly.
Faults and remedies
