• Press and hold the PTT
button to transmit. The TX red
LED Indicator will light up.
• Hold the unit in a vertical
position with the microphone
about 5 -7 cm away from the
mouth.
It is important, that You and all Your
partner stations have tuned their
radios to the same operating channel!
Sending a calling melody
You can use call tones to alert the
other parties when you are attempting
to contact them.
• Press the call button
C, the
red TX LED indicator will light
up and the call continues for 3
seconds (a kind of calling
melody).
Changing Channels:
The radio has 8 available
communication channels.
To change channels:
• Press menu button
1 x.
The current channel number
flashes on the LCD Screen.
• While the channel number is
flashing: Press
to move to
a higher or press
to move
to a lower channel. The
