confirm the selected channel
and return to the NORMAL
mode.

Switching transmit power
For short distance communication, we
recommend to use reduced power
(this will save a lot of battery power).
• To switch between Hi power
and Low power press
2 x.
The display will show
H or L
(depending on the last used setting)
• Press
to move to a high or
press
to move to Low
power.
• Confirm setting with PTT.
You will see
L in the display if You
have selected Low Power, and no
extra icon if Your choice was the
standard High power setting.
Monitoring weak signals:
You can use the MONITOR feature to
check for weak signals in the current
channel, where the automatic squelch
