Safety
• Switch off the scarifier if you cross any surfaces other than grass
and while transporting the scarifier from and to the area you wish
to use it on.
• Check the catch basket regularly for wear or damaged parts.
Explanation of the warning signs on the equipment (see Fig. 15)
A = Important! Read the operating instructions before using for the
first time.
B = Keep other persons (and animals) away from the danger zone.
C = Caution, sharp blades. The blades continue to rotate after the
equipment is switched off – pull the plug out of the power sock-
et before carrying out any maintenance or if the cable becomes
damaged.
D = Wear hearing and eye protection.
E = Keep the power cable away from the blades.
