Problem Possible cause Solution
The motor fails
to start.
− The power socket is defective.
− The power cable is defective.
− The switch/plug block is
defective.
− The terminals on the motor
are disconnected.
− The scarifier housing is
clogged.
− Check the cable and fuse.
− Check the power cable.
− Phone the customer ser-
vice center.

− Change the scarifier depth
and clean the housing.
The motor has
glitches.
