Charging the battery
WARNING!
Fire hazard!
Charging at temperatures below 10°C leads to chemical damage
of the cell and can cause a fire.

Charge the battery at room temperature.
Allow the battery to cool down to room temperature before charging it.
You can only charge the battery once it has been removed.
1. Remove the battery 2 (see
“Removing the battery”).
2. Plug the charger’s 3 coaxial
power connector into the battery’s
2 charger socket 11 .
3. Plug the charger 3 into a power
socket.
4. The charger operation indicator 13
lights up red.
The charger becomes warm when operated and may hum slightly. This is normal
and does not constitute a fault.
5. When charging is completed, the charger’s operation indicator 13 lights up
green.
6. Unplug the charger 3 from the power socket.
7. Unplug the charger’s 3 connector from the battery’s 2 charger socket 11 .
The battery is charged.
