Editing Program Change Messages
When a patch is loaded on Vortex Wireless, a program change message will be sent through the USB port and 5-pin
MIDI OUT port. This section describes what message will be sent when a patch is selected.
To set the Program Number:
1. Press the Patch Edit button.
2. Press the Program Set key.
3. To enter the Program Number for the patch, use the numeric keys to enter a value (0 – 127).
4. Press the Enter key to save the changes or the Cancel key to revert to the original setting.
To set the LSB (Least Significant Byte) and MSB (Most Significant Byte):
1. Press the Patch Edit button.
2. Press the Bank MSB or Bank LSB key.
3. Use the numeric keys to enter the MSB or LSB (0-127).
4. Press the Enter key to save the changes or the Cancel key to revert to the original setting.
Resetting Patches
To restore all of Vortex Wireless’s patches to their default settings:
1. Make sure Vortex Wireless is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Start/Stop and Patch Select buttons.
3. While holding these buttons, turn Vortex Wireless’s power on.
4. After all LEDs are illuminated on the body of Vortex Wireless, release the buttons.
Note: All LEDs on the neck of Vortex Wireless will flash 4 times to confirm that all patches are now at their
default settings.
