OIL
YOUR
MACHINE
Your
machine
should
be
oiled
occasionally
to
keep
it
operating
smoothly,
how
often
depends
on
the
amount
of
sewing
you
do.
Before
oiling
the
upper
part
of
the
sewing
unit
at
points
indicated
by
arrows
in
Fig.
44.

balance
wheel
towards
you
until
the
take-up
lever
is
at
its
lowest
point.
Avoid
over-oiling,
only
a
drop
is
needed
at
each
poin
t
To
oil
parts
under
the
bed
of
the
machine,
tiphead

on

hinges

a drop
of
oil
at
each
point
indicated
in
