hassuccessfullyenabledtheAllisonPrognosticsFeaturePackage,
consistingoftheOM,FM,andTM.
IfanotherTRANSSERVICEindicatorisinstalledinthedashorincorporated
inanOEMmessagedisplay,itshouldalsobrieyilluminateinsimilarfashion
astheTRANSSERVICEindicator.
DisablingthePrognosticsfeaturecanbedonewithAllisonDOC
®
or,ifthe
speciccalibrationallowsit,theoperatorcandothefollowing:
1.Setthevehiclebrakestopreventmovementofthevehicle.
2.Withengineoff,turntheignitionon(donotstarttheengine).Waitfor
initializationtocomplete(waitforNNtodisplayintheselector).
3.Movethebump-shiftleverselectororpressthekeypad(push
button)throughthefollowingsequenceofrangepositions,pausing
nomorethanthree(3)secondsbetweenconsecutiveshifts:
N-D-N-R-N-D-N-R-N-D-N-R-N.
4.WatchfortheTRANSSERVICEindicatorlocatedintheshiftselector
displaytoilluminateandthenturnoff.Thisindicatesthattheoperator
hassuccessfullyenabledtheAllisonPrognosticsFeaturePackage,
consistingoftheOM,FM,andTM.
IfanotherTRANSSERVICEindicatorisinstalledinthedashorincorporated
inanOEMmessagedisplay,itshouldalsobrieyilluminateinsimilarfashion
astheTRANSSERVICEindicator.
5.9.4NORMALPROGNOSTICSINDICATIONATENGINESTART .Once
Prognosticsismonitoringthesystem,normaloperationatenginestartisas
follows:
1.AsystembulbcheckilluminatestheTRANSSERVICEindicatorlocated
intheshiftselectordisplayforapproximately0.5seconds.
2.IfPrognosticsfeaturesareenabled,theTRANSSERVICEindicator
illuminatesagainfor3secondsafterthebulbcheck.
–IfPrognosticsfeaturesaredisabled,theTRANSSERVICE
indicatordoesnotilluminateagainafterthebulbcheck.
