If the Link indicator on your Allnet Modem doesn't light up after making a connection, the network interface, network cable, or switch port might be defective. First, verify that both the modem and the attached device are powered on. Ensure the Ethernet cable and fiber optics are securely plugged into both the switch and the corresponding device. Confirm that you're using the correct cable type and that its length doesn't exceed specified limits. Check the adapter on the attached device and cable connections for any defects, and replace any defective components. Finally, verify that the CO/CPE Mode setting is correct, and then repower the devices after adjusting the DIP switch setting.
