  If your Allstar stove fire is smoking while burning, it could be due to a few reasons. First, there might be insufficient draft, so make sure the chimney flue isn't blocked and sweep it if you have any doubts. Secondly, a down draft could be the culprit, in which case you should install an anti down draught cowl. Finally, check for poor ventilation and ensure there's enough ventilation in the room to feed the fire.

  If the fire in your Allstar stove is burning too quickly, there are several potential causes. One reason might be too much draft; try closing down the air control to reduce air intake. Another cause could be excessive draw on the chimney, in which case you should look at installing an appropriate cowl to reduce chimney draw. Also, ensure you're using quality fuel, not softwood or timber off-cuts. Lastly, check the fire rope seal around the door and make sure it's fitted tightly, as a loose fire rope can also cause the fire to burn too quickly.
