Car battery protection
You can set the car battery protection stage by selecting H1, H2 or H3. When the appliance
is working, press the SET button for 3 seconds, then the following setting appears on the LED
display:
H1: Low battery protection
H2: Medium battery protection
H3: High battery protection (factory default)
When the appliance is connected to the car, we recommend to set the protection stage to
H3 (high). H2 (medium) or H1 (low) are recommended when the appliance is connected to a
backup battery. Different cars may have different power output voltage. If the voltage
protection is displayed (F1 appears in the LED display), the battery protection must be
changed from H3 to H2 or H1.
Most cars will stop power supply if the engine is stopped. But some cars continue power
supply even when the engine is stopped. If the fridge is still working when the car engine is
stopped, then you should adjust the battery protection to H3 stage. Otherwise, the car
battery may run out of power and the battery may not have enough power to start the car.
Operation of the fridge battery
1. Prior to first use, fully load the battery with the original adapter for about 3 hours.
2. Press the SET button on the fridge until H3 is displayed. Then press the button again until
H2 appears and after this H1. H1 means low stage of car battery protection.
3. The battery can be charged and power the fridge at the same time.
Problems
F1 code is displayed:
- F1 is car battery protection from low voltage. Set the car battery protection stage from H3
to H1.
- Charge the battery if it is in low voltage or ran out of power.
The fridge does not work:
- Charge the battery if it is in low voltage or ran out of power.
- Make sure the power cable of the battery is tightly connected with the fridge socket.
Storing food
Fridge (0°C -10°C)
- Eggs, butter, milk and bottled drinks can be put in the fridge.
- Fruits and vegetables should be put in the crisper for moisture retaining.
- Hot food should be cooled down before it is put in the fridge to save energy.
- Food must be packed in plastic bags. Leave space between packaged foods to keep the
cool air circulating.
