Alpine
5953
is
a

controller

the
CD
Shuttle
(5952)
.
The
5953
Controller
incorporates
the
latest
technology
and
design
with
built-in
controls
which
allow
you
to
build
a
system
around
Alpine's
new
CD
Shuttle
(with
the
optional
1390
FMX/FM/AM
tuner)
or
add
it
to
an
existing
system.
The
5953
was
designed
for
installation
in
vehicles
with
12-volt,
negative
ground
electrical
systems.
Its
convenient
sized
chassis
houses
an
array
of
features
such
as
an
illuminated
computer-like
control
keyboard
and
easy-to-read
LCD
display.
It
can
also
be
mounted
in-dash
using
Alpine’s
exclusive
4931
kit
(optional).
This
kit
allows
easy
removal
of
the
controller
as
an
anti-theft
measure.

MUSIC
SENSOR
This
feature
allows
you
to
automatically
fast
forward
the
pickup
through
the
music
track
currently
playing

beginning
of
the
next
selection
and
then
begins

changer
will
also
automatically
return
to

beginning

music
selection
and
begin
playback.

Permits

scans

the

seconds

MEMORY
When
you
engage
AUTO
MEMORY,
the
tuner
will
automatically
determine
the

strongest
FM
or
AM
stations
and
ioad
them
into
the
preset
memory.
This
feature
is
convenient
when
you
are
in
an
unfamiliar
reception
area.
D.A.P.
(Direct
Access
Preset)
D.A.P.
allows
the
strorage
of
AM
and
FM
presets
on
the
same
band,
eliminating
the
need
to
press
the
TUNER
BAND
button.
