erased,

for

seconds
then

to

from

changer

OPERATION
The
following
instructions
apply
only
to
systems
that
incorporate
the
Alpine
1390
FMXโ„ข/FM/AM
tuner.
FM
Stereo/Monaural
Switching
(MONO
Button)
You
can
select
between
the
Stereo
and
Monaural
modes.
During
FM
stereo
re-
ception,
should
the
signal
become
weak
(the
ST
indicator
@)
in
the
display
blinks
or
disappears),
select
monaural
reception
by
pressing
the
MONO
button

to
decrease
the
noise
level.
To
activate
the
stereo
mode,
press
the
MONO
button

again.

you
are
listening

FMX

Note:

Tuner

connected
with
the

and
the
FMX

Memory
Preset
Follow
the
instructions

to
program
stations
into
preset
memory.

using

Seek
tuning.

Press
and
hold
any
Preset

for
more
than
two
seconds.
The
tuned
frequency
and

Press
that
button
a
second
time
while
the
display
is
blinking
(within
5
seconds).
4.
Your
selected
station
will
be
memorized
into
that
preset
location
and
the
indicator
will
light.
Note:
If
a
preset
memory
has
already
been
programmed
in
that
location,
it
will
be
cleared
and
the
new
station
will
replace
it
in
the
preset
memory.

6.
When
seeking
stations,
the
tuner
first
seeks
in
the
local
tuning
mode.
If
less
than
6
stations
are
memorized,
the
tuner
seeks
again
in
the
distance
(DX)
mode.

After
finishing
Auto
Memory
Preset,
the
tuner
goes
to
the
station
placed
in
preset
memory

If
no
stations
are
memorized,
it
returns
to
the
original
station
you
were
listening
to
before
the
auto
memory
