Registering the ID Code
of the Remote Control
Transmitter (Continued)
The CDA-7949 will acknowledge the TX/
PANIC button press by scrolling the text
shown in the illustration.
If additional remote control transmitters need
to be coded, repeat step 6 .
Notes:
• Up to 4 remote control transmitters can be
registered.
• If you register 5th remote control transmit-
ter, the ID code registered for the 1st
remote control transmitter will be deleted.
Once the process is complete, release the
Disarm/Valet switch. The CDA-7949's "Code
Learn" screen will disappear.
