Prevent fire or electric shock by using the correct fuse amperage when replacing.

Periodically clean the tape head with a head-cleaning cassette for best performance.
Replace fuses with the same amperage; check electrical connections if fuse blows repeatedly.

Set volume to minimum, remove panel, and press reset switch for initial system setup.

Press and hold Eject for 3s to toggle N.F.P. ON/OFF; ideal for subwoofer amps.
Press and hold PWR for 3s, then Preset 1 to adjust FM signal level (HI/LO) to match tape player.
Use MODE button to cycle through settings; adjust with ^/v buttons.
Press and hold LOUD button for 2s to toggle loudness; display shows 'LD' when active.
Use SOURCE, BAND, TUNE, and DN/UP buttons to manually tune radio stations.

Tune to a station, press and hold preset button (1-6) for 2s, then press again to store.
Press SOURCE, then BAND, then hold A.ME button for 2s to automatically store 6 strongest stations.
Press SOURCE, then BAND, then press preset button (1-6) to recall stored stations.
Press AF to activate RDS mode; display shows 'AF'. Use DN/UP to tune RDS stations.
Press AF, ensure Function indicator is on, then press preset button to recall RDS stations.
Hold PWR for 3s, press Preset 3 to select PTY31 ON/OFF, press PWR to activate.
Press T.INFO to activate; display shows 'T-INFO'. Use DN/UP to select station; TP indicator lights up.
Press F, then PTY to activate PTY mode. Use DN/UP to select desired programme type.
Press T.INFO to activate. Unit mutes source during traffic info and returns to original source afterwards.
Press F, then NEWS to activate PRIORITY NEWS mode; unit prioritizes news broadcasts.
Hold PWR for 3s to activate setting mode. Press PTY to toggle REG ON/OFF.
Insert cassette with open side right. Press Eject button to remove. Auto Metal detection.
Insert cassette or switch source. Use /II to pause/resume. Eject button stops play.
Press NR B button after inserting Dolby B NR tape to reduce tape noise.
Press RPT button to play programme repeatedly. Press RPT again to stop.
Press B.SKIP to skip blank portions of tape. Press B.SKIP again to cancel.
Use DN/UP buttons to fast forward/rewind tape. Indicators show tape direction.
Press SCAN to play first 10 seconds of each programme. Press SCAN to cancel.
Press PROG button to change tape direction and play the other side.
Use P.S. DN/UP to return to beginning of current/previous track or advance to next/ future track.
Connect Alpine 6-disc CD Shuttle to control it using the TDM-7545R/TDM-7544R.
Use DN/UP buttons to return to beginning of current/previous track or advance to next/future track.
Press and hold DN/UP buttons to move backward or forward quickly until desired portion is reached.
Press F, then RPT to display 'RPT' or 'RPT ALL' for repeating track or disc.
Press F, then M.I.X. to play tracks in random sequence. Press M.I.X. again to cancel.
Press F, then SCAN to play first 10 seconds of each track. Press SCAN to cancel.
Press TITLE button in CD mode to display titles. Display switches each time button is pressed.
Press TITLE, then Preset buttons to select disc. Hold TITLE for 3s, use DN/UP to select characters.
Press TITLE, then SOURCE to activate erase mode. Use DN/UP to select title. Hold SOURCE to erase.
Check ignition, power connections, and fuses. Press Reset button for micro-computer malfunction.
Check antenna connection and cable. Replace if necessary.
Ensure tuner is in DX mode. Check antenna grounding and length.
Check antenna length and grounding for noisy reception.
Clean tape head or check Dolby NR settings for dull playback.
Check temperature range; allow vehicle interior to cool if outside +50°C.
Allow time for moisture condensation in CD module to evaporate.
Eject damaged CDs to prevent mechanism damage.
Check CD Shuttle mounting, clean disc, or replace disc.
Clean or replace dirty or scratched discs.
Use Alpine's recommended CD adaptor for 8 cm discs.
Protective circuit activated due to high temp. Indicator disappears when temp returns to normal.
Consult dealer. Try ejecting magazine and reinserting. If unable, consult dealer.
Press eject button. If magazine doesn't eject, consult dealer.
Eject disc, then insert empty magazine to retrieve stuck disc.
Insert a magazine for CD Shuttle operation.
Select another disc if the indicated disc is not present.
