Press and hold DN/UP buttons to move backward or forward quickly until desired portion is reached.

Press F, then RPT to display 'RPT' or 'RPT ALL' for repeating track or disc.

CD Player Features: Random Play

M.I.X. (Random) Play

Press F, then M.I.X. to play tracks in random sequence. Press M.I.X. again to cancel.

CD Player Features: Scanning

Disc Scan

Press F, then SCAN to play first 10 seconds of each track. Press SCAN to cancel.

CD Title Management

Displaying CD Titles

Press TITLE button in CD mode to display titles. Display switches each time button is pressed.

CD Title Management: Titling

Titling Discs

Press TITLE, then Preset buttons to select disc. Hold TITLE for 3s, use DN/UP to select characters.

CD Title Management: Erasing

Erasing Disc Title

Press TITLE, then SOURCE to activate erase mode. Use DN/UP to select title. Hold SOURCE to erase.

Troubleshooting: Unit Issues

No Function or Display

Check ignition, power connections, and fuses. Press Reset button for micro-computer malfunction.

Troubleshooting: Radio Reception

Unable to Receive Stations

Check antenna connection and cable. Replace if necessary.

Unable to Tune Stations in Seek Mode

Ensure tuner is in DX mode. Check antenna grounding and length.

Troubleshooting: Playback Issues

Noisy Broadcast

Check antenna length and grounding for noisy reception.

Dull Tape Playback

Clean tape head or check Dolby NR settings for dull playback.

CD Shuttle Not Functioning

Check temperature range; allow vehicle interior to cool if outside +50°C.

CD Playback Sound Wavering

Allow time for moisture condensation in CD module to evaporate.

Troubleshooting: CD Playback Problems

CD Unable to Fast Forward or Backward

Eject damaged CDs to prevent mechanism damage.

CD Sound Skips Due to Vibration

Check CD Shuttle mounting, clean disc, or replace disc.

CD Sound Skips Without Vibration

Clean or replace dirty or scratched discs.

Single (8 cm) Disc Does Not Play

Use Alpine's recommended CD adaptor for 8 cm discs.

Troubleshooting: CD Shuttle Indications

HI TEMP Indication

Protective circuit activated due to high temp. Indicator disappears when temp returns to normal.

ERROR - 01: CD Shuttle Malfunction

Consult dealer. Try ejecting magazine and reinserting. If unable, consult dealer.

Magazine Ejection Not Possible

Press eject button. If magazine doesn't eject, consult dealer.

Troubleshooting: CD Shuttle Errors

ERROR - 02: Disc Stuck

Eject disc, then insert empty magazine to retrieve stuck disc.

NO MAGZN: No Magazine Loaded

Insert a magazine for CD Shuttle operation.

NO DISC: Disc Not Found

Select another disc if the indicated disc is not present.
